Democrats count on the mainstream media to push their talking points and their radical left-wing agenda.

But it seems that may be starting to change when it comes to their coverage of beleaguered President Joe Biden.

And The New York Times just admitted this brutal truth about Joe Biden that has the D.C. Swamp in turmoil.

Joe Biden is facing a mounting pile of obstacles in his path to try and secure a second term in the White House.

Illegal aliens are entering the country in record numbers due, almost entirely, to Joe Biden’s open border policies.

Inflation continues to soar, and the economy is getting worse by the day.

Violent crime is surging in cities across the country, and Americans are increasingly worried about the possibility of World War III breaking out at any moment.

But there is one problem facing Joe Biden that he can’t overcome: his age and clearly declining mental acuity.

This has forced Biden to drastically limit his appearances in front of the media.

He even refused to participate in this year’s traditional Super Bowl pregame show interview.

And Biden’s allies in the corporate media are growing more and more fed up with his refusal to sit down for interviews.

And now they are starting to speak out about it.

The New York Times recently released a statement complaining about how Biden “has so actively and effectively avoided questions from independent journalists during his term,” an issue that they called “troubling.”

“[I]n meetings with Vice President Harris and other administration officials, the publisher of The Times focused instead on a higher principle: That systematically avoiding interviews and questions from major news organizations doesn’t just undermine an important norm, it also establishes a dangerous precedent that future presidents can use to avoid scrutiny and accountability,” the statement read. “That is why Mr. Sulzberger has repeatedly urged the White House to have the president sit down with The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, CNN and other major independent news organizations that millions of Americans rely on to understand their government.”

Of course, there’s a very good reason why Joe Biden is refusing to conduct interviews with the press.

And it’s not because he no longer considers them an ally.

It’s because he simply no longer has the mental acuity to answer even simple questions.

On the rare occasion Biden does hold a press conference, his staff provides him with a detailed cheat sheet of pre-selected reporters to call on as well as notecards with bullet point answers to pre-selected questions.

In his three years in office, Biden has held fewer press conferences than any of his predecessors.

As The Washington Post noted last year, “he has given fewer interviews to major news organizations, despite his promise to restore traditional press relations after the Trump era.”

And Joe Biden’s declining mental faculties are only getting worse with each passing day.

That’s why many now believe he will find an excuse not to debate Donald Trump during the general election campaign.

And it’s why many other political pundits still believe that Democrats will replace Biden at the top of the ticket before the November election.
