New York Democrats elected Letitia James as Attorney General for one reason: to go after Trump.

But now, her lawfare campaign and judicial witch hunt is falling apart.

And Letitia James bit off more than she could chew when she picked a fight with Trump’s legal team and this courageous judge.

Judge hands James a big loss

A New York appeals Judge reduced Trump’s judgment from $464 million to $175 million.

The original bond was intentionally set so high, knowing no bank would agree to put up that amount, which would allow James to begin seizing Trump’s New York base assets, such as Trump Tower.

The appeals court’s decision to lower the bond to $175 million is a good sign that Trump could eventually get the judgment thrown out on appeal.

Allowing the judgment to stand would send a message to those looking to do business in the Big Apple, that they better not get on the bad side of the leftist politicians that control New York.

James attempted to get the $175 million bond that was posted voided, claiming that the California based company that put up the money lacked sufficient assets.

Trump’s lawyer celebrates victory

Trump lawyer, Alina Habba, shared her disgust with the lawfare being waged against her client.

“A complete waste of time and taxpayer money, once again,” Habba stated.

She noted that Democratic prosecutors are going after Trump because they are scared that he will beat Biden at the ballot box.

“The fact that we have two courts, one criminal and civil, being used against one man because they cannot beat him in the polls is a disgrace to the American judicial system,” Habba said Monday. “He should not have two teams of lawyers here today. He should not even be here today because he did nothing wrong. It is the epitome of a witch hunt.”

Habba also noted that James’ claims about the bond were baseless, noting that it is backed by cash in Trump’s bank accounts, which holds well over $175 million.

“Ms. James wanted to argue and say that our cash somehow isn’t green enough,” Habba concluded. “This is where your tax dollars are going to America, right here, witch hunt after witch hunt.”

James is doing everything she can to fulfill her campaign promise of abusing her office to go after Trump.

Hopefully in the end, things in court won’t go her way, because the precedent James is looking to establish will affect all New Yorkers.
