Alvin Bragg is terrified because this payment from Democrats exposed his entire scam

Alvin Bragg has ignored the law and statute of limitations to stick Donald Trump in a criminal courtroom instead of the campaign trail.

But this news could make his entire program backfire.

Bragg is now terrified that this recently discovered payment from Democrats could ruin everything.

The Bragg-to-Biden connection

Former President Donald Trump has long contended that the Democrats, in concert with the deep state, are out to get him.

Trump suspected that Joe Biden himself is pulling the strings on the court cases against him.

Trump has called George Soros-backed Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s criminal case against him the “Biden case” or the “Biden witch hunt.”

Democrats and their media allies smeared Trump as a hysteric engaging in a conspiracy theory.

But the lead prosecutor working underneath Bragg has deep ties to Biden’s regime.

Matthew Colangelo left the Biden Department of Justice, where he worked as Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General—the number three person at the DOJ—to work for the Manhattan Democrat District Attorney’s office.

Leaving a high-ranking federal position inside the Justice Department for a county prosecutor’s office is a career move that raises questions.

Before working for the Biden administration, Colangelo worked on the New York Democrat Attorney General’s investigation into the Trump Foundation, as well as the civil fraud case against Trump.

Colangelo gave the opening statement for the prosecution in Bragg’s criminal case against Trump for allegedly falsifying business records, a misdemeanor that has comically been elevated to a felony.

Colangelo argued that Trump’s alleged accounting error of recording a payment made to his former attorney Michael Cohen—who allegedly paid porn star Stormy Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement—as “legal services” was a move to “corrupt the 2016 election.”

He told the courtroom, “It was election fraud, pure and simple.”

But it’s not pure and simple.

In fact, even Democrat prosecutors have called Bragg’s case laughable.

Colangelo’s claims of election interference might have boomeranged back at him because payments to him from the Democratic National Committee were unearthed.

According to federal campaign finance records, the DNC paid Colangelo $12,000 in 2018 for “political consulting” work.

On January 31, 2018, DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee was given two payments of $6,000.

At the time, Colangelo was working as the Deputy Attorney General for Social Justice under the New York Democrat Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Schneiderman was forced to resign in disgrace amid multiple #MeToo allegations.

While Colangelo was working in an allegedly “non-partisan role,” he was moonlighting as a Democrat political consultant.

Colangelo filed a lawsuit against the Trump Foundation in June 2018, alleging that the non-profit misused its resources.

Colangelo has been an anti-Trump crusader long before Bragg’s hush money case.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanding documents and communications about Colangelo, regarding Trump and his businesses.

Jordan wrote, “Bragg is engaged in one such politicized prosecution, which is being led in part by Matthew B. Colangelo, a former senior Justice Department official. . .Accordingly, given the perception that the Justice Department is assisting in Bragg’s politicized prosecution, we write to request information and documents related to Mr. Colangelo’s employment.”

There is a direct link from the Biden administration to the Manhattan Democrat District Attorney’s Office, just as there is a link between Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and the Biden White House.

In the New York case, the link just so happens to be a career Democrat lawyer, who’s leading the witch hunt against Donald Trump.
