This judge said Alvin Bragg and Juan Merchan turned the US into a Banana Republic

Alvin Bragg contorted the law to bring felony charges against Donald Trump.

And a Democrat activist in a black robe went along with the charade.

But this one judge called out Bragg and Merchan’s scheme to turn America into a banana republic and pointed out the glaring flaws in the entire case.

Judge Jeanine Pirro rips Trump verdict

President Donald Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying documents in his Manhattan criminal trial, and Republicans were justifiably outraged.

Trump paid his lawyer, but somehow listing that payment as “legal services” was a falsification of business records.

The deck was stacked against Trump by Democrat Judge Juan Merchan, who gave the prosecution every advantage.

A jury selected from a pool that voted 87% for Joe Biden in the 2020 election was the cherry on top.

George Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg concocted a novel legal theory that experts said had never been tried before anywhere in the United States.

Bragg elevated the misdemeanor falsification of business records to a felony by claiming that Trump covered up another crime, which was never explicitly stated.

The suggestion that Bragg came up with is that Trump committed a 2016 campaign finance violation, but that would have been a federal infraction, and the feds found that they did not have a case against Trump.

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro served as a judge in Westchester County, New York—north of Manhattan—and she called shenanigans on the proceedings.

Pirro called the Trump verdict something out of a banana republic that came from a “kangaroo court.”

Judge Jeanine said, “I, as a former prosecutor and a judge who knows the state courts and knows the state law — I know that this is riddled with reversible error. . .I know that there was no basis to charge of this crime.”

Bragg is notorious for reducing felonies to misdemeanors and rejecting cases, but when it came to Trump, he looked for a reason to elevate the charges.

Pirro explained, “So I mean, you’ve got that, but there is also a gut punch to the criminal justice system in the United States. . .People realize, we are no longer safe anymore. And it is because of the progressive Left agenda of making sure that we don’t keep people in jail and, you know, they are out there with 33 arrests, but, you know, they are still assaulting people and violently attacking people down the street here.”

Trump persecuted in show trial

The verdict proved that Trump—and perhaps any prominent Republican—can no longer get a fair shake in New York.

Pirro added, “This is an anti-Trump judge, anti-Trump prosecutor. . .America is going to respond to this. This is a gut punch. We want to see politicians’ fight. We don’t want to see what they do in third-world countries — to have one side start indicting and jailing the other side. This is not American. This is not who we are.”

The prosecution waited until closing arguments to present potential crimes that Trump allegedly committed.

Jurors were presented with their choice of New York state tax charges, a federal campaign violation, or another falsifying business records charge to serve as the supposed underlying crime.

The judge gave the jury instructions to that effect.

Judge Jeanine remarked, “And to see this happen before our eyes when we know that this is not legitimate when a defendant was not advised of the crimes that he was charged with. . .This is lunacy, and I think that any red-blooded American who sees this is going to understand that this isn’t what we do to our political enemies. This is what they do in kangaroo courts in third-world countries. God help America after what I’ve seen in the last few weeks.”

Democrats are perfectly comfortable with throwing their political opponents in jail on bogus charges.
