Patricia Heaton just came to Harrison Butker’s defense with absolute common sense

After Harrison Butker’s commencement speech at Benedictine College, the radical Left lost their minds.

Cancel culture has been working overtime to get Butker fired from the Kansas City Chiefs.

But Patricia Heaton just applied some radical common sense to the controvercy when she came to Harrison Butker’s defense.

During Butker’s speech, he praised traditional family values.

He praised stay at home mom’s, and said that all women don’t have to accept the modern feminist view that women all need to be more focused on their careers than their families.

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you,” Butker stated.

“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother,” Butker added.

He also railed against abortion, Pride Month, and Joe Biden.

This caused leftist feminists to explode with anger toward him.

Celebrities like Maren Morris, Flavor Flav, Maria Shriver, and Hoda Kotb all attacked him.

Catholics used to agree with Butker

Patricia Heaton, however, came to his defense.

“I don’t understand why everyone’s knickers are in a twist,” Heaton said at the start of her video. “He gave a commencement speech, the audience applauded twice during the speech and gave him a standing ovation at the end. So clearly, they enjoyed what he was saying.”

She said that what Butker was saying is in accordance with Catholic Doctrine.

“I am a Catholic woman, who worked through my kids’ childhood, and I believe God opened those doors for me. Thankfully, it was a schedule that allowed me to also be a full-time mom, basically. I find nothing offensive about what he said, even though my life is very different. He might even look at my life and say that’s not the way it should be. That’s okay. That’s his opinion,” she said.

She is absolutely correct.

Butker was giving an address at a Catholic university saying things that Catholics have believed for decades.

He said that Pride month is celebrating sin, and affirmed age-old church teachings on abortion, vitro fertilization and surrogacy.

That is until the social justice warrior Jesuits, like Pope Francis, started corrupting the church.

Now days, the Church seems more focused on appeasing the Left than holding to God’s word, as could be seen when Pope Francis gave the go-ahead for priests to start blessing same-sex “marriages,” and started kicking out priests that opposed the liberalization of Catholic doctrine.

Butker also received an unlikely defender.

Far-Left cohost of The View, Whoopi Goldberg, defended his right to free speech.

“The same way we want respect when Colin Kaepernick takes a knee, we want to give respect to people whose ideas are different from ours,” Goldberg said.

So far, the Left’s attempts to cancel Butker have fallen flat, and sales of his Jersey have soared.
