Tucker’s interview with man jailed for joke exposed the hypocrisy of the Left

The justice system has been weaponized against conservatives.

Simply put, as Biden moved into the White House, the “Justice” Department has been using its tremendous power to control the American people.

Now a man that was jailed because he shared a meme is speaking out about his experience with the justice system and how the Left has twisted the First Amendment.

Meme told Clinton supporters to vote by text

Social media is the modern-day town square where people from around the country – and world – gather to exchange ideas.

One way people show others what is on their mind is through the artform of memes.

A meme is usually a video or picture that is meant to be taken humorously, but sometimes people don’t find them funny.

One instance of a meme gone wrong can be seen in the case of Douglass Mackey.

In 2016, Mackey shared a graphic implying that Hillary Clinton voters could simply text their vote to the number 59925 instead of showing up to polling locations.

Shortly after Biden was elected in 2020, the Biden administration raided Mackey’s home and arrested him for election interference.

They claimed the man tricked voters to text from “at least 4,900 unique telephone numbers” expressing their choice for Clinton to be President.

Now Mackey is facing a harsh punishment, and Tucker Carlson gave him one more opportunity to speak his mind.

ACLU doesn’t “care too much about the First Amendment anymore”

Mackey has now been sentenced to 7 months in prison over what he describes as a “joke” that he shared on Twitter in 2016.

The Department of Justice waited until 7 days after Biden was inaugurated to send the FBI to arrest him.

Mackey was pulled from his home without warning at 7:30am on January 27th, 2021, and it shocked the country.

Carlson asked whether Mackey had received any support following his arrest.

Mackey responded saying that normal Americans contacted him from all over the country to voice their concerns and show support.

But groups like the ACLU that are focused on “civil liberties” didn’t seem to care about the injustice.

“I don’t think they care too much about the First Amendment anymore,” Mackey said.

Tucker suggested that Mackey was convicted not on what his intent was but rather, “what they said [his] intent was.”

Mackey agreed saying that to him it was just a meme that he didn’t even create—all he did was repost something.

But to Hillary Clinton, this was a much larger conspiracy and not just a meme.

Hypocrisy on full display by the Democrats

According to Clinton, the meme went beyond free speech “to running a very deliberate effort to mislead people about where and how to vote.”

This was “meant to subvert the election, because thousands of people who they targeted through their algorithms [decided], ‘oh I could text my vote for Hillary Clinton.”

But Mackey isn’t the one writing the algorithms, and he discussed Clinton’s comments during the interview with Carlson.

“Did you have personal algorithms that you used?” Carlson sarcastically asked.

Mackey laughed saying “no, you just copy paste and click a button.”

While Democrats are outraged by Mackey’s meme, there is an eerily similar one from this leftist still published on Twitter.

Kristina Wong shared a video telling Trump Supporters to “skip the poll lines” and vote by text in 2016.

Wong shared the video on election day where she claimed that she was “coming out as a Trump supporter.”

The two-sided justice system in this country is impossible to miss.
