The leftist media and the Democrat Party spent the last seven years trying to destroy Donald Trump.
Many have called this irrational hatred and overreaction to everything Trump does as “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” and some are beginning to think it is a very real mental illness.
And now this top Democrat just exposed the real danger of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Billionaire businessman Chamath Palihapitiya was an early executive at Facebook and then became a successful venture capitalist and tech investor.
Palihapitiya is also a loyal Democrat who has donated more than $1.3 million to the party over the last decade.
But in a recent episode of his podcast, Palihapitiya admitted that Trump Derangement Syndrome was a destructive force in American life.
The chaos at the southern border and the deadly Hamas terrorist attack in Israel caused Palihapitiya to reconsider how Democrats and the media subjected Trump to a relentless smear campaign despite the fact that Trump’s policies proved to be successful.
“The work on the border wall, we didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message. Turned out it was right,” Palihapitiya noted.
Ever since Joe Biden took office, more illegal aliens entered America than the population of all but 12 states.
September’s numbers expect to show around 270,000 illegal aliens – the highest number ever recorded in American history – attempted to enter the country.
Since the Biden administration reinstated the practice of catch and release, this means illegal aliens who show up at the border and make a claim of asylum are then set free in America.
Palihapitiya also noted how Donald Trump negotiated the Abraham Accords peace deal, which brought recognition of the state of Israel for the first time from some of its neighbors and compared that to how the region is on fire, thanks to Joe Biden’s disastrous foreign policy.
“Peace in the Middle East. We didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message. When are we gonna stop shooting ourselves in the foot?” Palihapitiya added.
