This group of LGBT college students are petitioning the Supreme Court to create a new right

Leftists have the mistaken idea that unless you pay for their activity, you are taking away their rights.

Woke leftists do this all the time, demanding you pay for their food, medical care, and drugs, but now they are taking it to a whole new level.

Now a group of LGBT college students are going to the Supreme Court to demand a new “right” that the taxpayers have to fund.

This recent appeal to the Supreme Court may take crazy to a whole new level

Since the founding of the nation, the Supreme Court has molded the legal framework of the United States, delivering crucial decisions that influence the way many Americans live their lives.

Having said that, an LGBT student group from the West Texas A&M University believes that their case belongs in this lofty echelon of landmark Supreme cases.

According to the Spectrum WT student group at West Texas A&M University, the university’s decision to cancel their on-campus drag show not only violates their First Amendment rights, but it also qualifies them for emergency federal funding.

Furthermore, Spectrum WT has asked for an injunction, which would allow their drag show to take place as lower courts get to the bottom of things.

Yes, you read that right.  As the nation suffers from a multitude of crises, such as the rising cost of goods, a border crisis of unprecedented proportions, and a crippling crime wave, students at West Texas A&M believe their drag show should move to the top of the Supreme Court docket.

Spectrum WT’s legal appeal claims that “This act of censorship is predicated on nothing more than the President’s personal opinion that a planned performance on campus ‘demeans,’ ‘mock[s],’ and ‘denigrates’ women.”

The appeal adds, “Without an immediate injunction, a viewpoint-driven prior restraint that has hung over West Texas A&M for nearly a year will continue to irreparably injure college students’ free expression.”

Last year, West Texas A&M President Walter Wendler canceled the on-campus drag show, stating, “I believe every human being is created in the image of God and, therefore, a person of dignity. Being created in God’s image is the basis of Natural Law.”

He added, “Does a drag show preserve a single thread of human dignity? I think not. As a performance exaggerating aspects of womanhood (sexuality, femininity, gender), drag shows stereotype women in cartoon-like extremes for the amusement of others and discriminate against womanhood.”

Left-wing radicalism threatens the very fabric of American culture

As students in China learn how to build nuclear reactors on the moon, many academic institutions in America have completely surrendered to “woke” radicalism.

Many students in America are learning to hate America and each other instead of important life skills, which is the entire point of college.

As far as this absurd SCOTUS appeal is concerned, legal experts do not expect it to go far, especially given that there are much more pressing matters than a campus drag show.
