The world would be a less dangerous place if Joe Biden had followed his own advise from 15 years ago

Polls show that more and more Americans know that Joe Biden is not mentally competent anymore.

The difference is stark compared to when he was Vice President a decade and a half ago.

Now, an eerie video shows that Joe Biden could have prevented disaster if only he listened to his younger and more coherent self.

Joe Biden has never been accused of being a foreign policy genius.

Last year, Former President Obama’s own Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned that Biden “has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past 4 decades.”

Two years ago, Joe Biden’s decision to hastily withdraw forces from Afghanistan led to a deadly attack on Americans.

Thirteen servicemembers were killed and many others were wounded.

In addition, because of Biden’s poor planning, hundreds of Americans and billions of dollars of U.S. military equipment was stranded behind enemy lines.

Now, there is word that some of those weapons left in Afghanistan have fallen into the hands of Palestinians and the terrorist group Hamas.

But as the old saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

A rare nugget of wisdom long ago from Biden

It turns out that Joe Biden should have listened to…Joe Biden.

Video from 2007 has resurfaced, and in it he warned against leaving chaos behind, saying that it would take years to get all American troops out of Afghanistan.

While giving a speech at the Madison County Historical Society in Iowa, Biden, then a Senator from Delaware, said, “And you leave those billions of dollars of weapons behind I promise they’re going to be used against your grandchild and mine someday.”

Biden later added, “If tomorrow the order goes out, I’m President of the United States. I issue an order to end the war today and begin the withdrawal of all American troops; it would take a year to get the American troops out. You hear me now? That’s the truth. It would take a year to get them physically out. Now, if you leave all the equipment behind, you might be able to do it in seven months, and you leave those billions of dollars in weapons behind; I promise they’re going to be used against your grandchild and mine someday.”

Actions have consequences

This all comes on the heels of new information suggesting that U.S. weapons left behind by President Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal are being used to attack Israel.

According to Newsweek, an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) commander said that US weapons left in Afghanistan were found in the hands of Palestinian groups active in the Gaza Strip.

The official further said that Israel is concerned about the possibility of weapons provided by the United States and other Western nations to Ukraine ending up in the hands of Iran or other countries and groups hostile to Israel.

According to the Pentagon, $7 billion in military equipment granted to the previous government fell into Taliban hands after the US withdrawal of forces in Afghanistan two years ago.
