Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records.
Trump’s alleged crime stemmed from listing a payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels as part of a non-disclosure agreement as legal fees.
Bragg’s predecessor refused to charge the case, but Bragg promised that he would get Trump and felt pressure to deliver.
He also wanted to help Biden’s reelection bid by taking Trump off the table.
Democrat Judge Juan Merchan made sure that Bragg got his conviction of Trump.
Trump awaits sentencing after his lawyers called for the charges to be dropped in light of his Presidential election victory.
Merchan also got pressure from an unexpected source to drop the charges.
Michael Avenatti, who was dubbed the “creepy porn lawyer” by Tucker Carlson, called for Merchan to toss the Trump charges.
Avenatti, who defended Daniels before falling out with her, is currently in prison until 2035 due to fraud and extortion convictions.
He congratulated Trump from prison on social media.
Avenatti wrote, “Congratulations to President Trump on his unprecedented, dominant result . . . There’s no denying his instincts, toughness, and resiliency.”

Avenatti also called for the charges against Trump to be dropped.
“The hush money verdict should be promptly thrown out by Judge Merchan and the case immediately dismissed,” Avenatti added.
He continued, “It was always a political prosecution solely designed to keep President Trump from being elected, founded on the perjury of grifters Cohen & Daniels . . . While the country moves forward, Cohen & Daniels can crawl back where they came from.”

Avenatti is no fan of Trump.
The Democrat-controlled media turned him into a rock star when it looked like he was the man would could bring Trump down.
He made countless appearances on CNN and MSNBC, and was even floated as a Presidential candidate against Trump.
Avenatti defended Daniels when she came forward with her allegations of an affair with Donald Trump in 2006.
However, he got caught stealing approximately $300,000 in book proceeds from Daniels as well as millions from other clients.
He also tried to shake down Nike in a failed extortion attempt.
Avenatti is currently serving time at FCI Terminal Island in San Pedro.
The creepy porn lawyer is no fan of Donald Trump.
