Pop megastar Taylor Swift is one of the biggest stories of the NFL season.

Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce is a pop culture phenomenon.

And Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes got caught on camera doing one weird thing to each.

Taylor Swift sitting next to Brittany Mahomes – the wife of Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes – in a luxury box for the team’s 31 to 17 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, was one of those singularities that threatened to consume the Internet.

Swift’s a regular at Chiefs games as she takes a break from her “Eras” tour to cheer on Kelce and his teammates.

But the video from Sunday that went viral was an elaborate handshake celebration Swift and Mahomes engaged in after a big play by Kelce.

The two clearly practiced the routine in the hopes of creating this very moment to take over social media.

Brittany Mahomes is one of the more controversial WAGs in the NFL.

In the 2022 playoffs, Mahomes created a stir by spraying champagne all over fans after the Chiefs heart stopping 42 to 36 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Playoff round.

Earlier that season, Mahomes became the butt of jokes around the NFL community after she complained the refs were biased against the Chiefs posting on social media that “Refs are never in our favor” during the Chiefs Week 5 38 to 20 defeat at the hands of those same Buffalo Bills.

As for Swift and Kelce, Swift’s presence is clearly a benefit as Kelce shows out to impress his new girlfriend.
