At the age of 78, Sylvester Stallone is still one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
Sly continues to turn out hits both in front of and behind the camera.
And now, the Trump-supporting Stallone just landed this leading man for his next action-adventure blockbuster.
The eye of the tiger
The man behind Rocky Balboa and John Rambo remains one of the busiest entertainers in Hollywood despite closing in on 80-years-old.
Sylvester Stallone is currently the star of Tulsa King.
The Paramount Plus show – from the creator of Yellowstone – is one of the biggest current hits in all of streaming.
Additionally, Stallone is starring in the freshly released film, Alarum.
Alarum co-stars Clint Eastwood’s son Scott.
And according to IMDB, the Italian Stallion has six more movies in pre-production.
But that’s just as an actor.
Stallone has even more projects in the works where he’s wearing a behind the scenes hat.
And the next one up is A Working Man.
Choose your weapon
A Working Man is set to debut in late March of this year.
Stallone is the executive producer on the film, and he also penned the screenplay.
“Levon Cade left his profession behind to work construction and be a good dad to his daughter,” the IMDB synopsis reads. “But when a local girl vanishes, he’s asked to return to the skills that made him a mythic figure in the shadowy world of counter-terrorism.”
Sounds exciting – but begs one big question . . .
Who will play Levon Cade?
The answer was revealed in the newly released trailer for the popcorn flick.
Jason Statham is playing the lead role of Cade.
Stallone and Statham have worked together extensively in The Expendables franchise.
The movie also stars Ant Man’s Michael Pena, and David Harbour of Stranger Things fame.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade.
Dixon is a renowned conservative, best known for his work on Marvel Comics’ The Punisher and DC Comics’ Batman.
Rocky Balboa vs. Jim Hopper
Harbour is an interesting casting choice for a Stallone/Dixon project.
While he’s proven to be a fine actor, Harbour’s politics don’t align well with Stallone’s.

Sylvester Stallone is so MAGA he has compared his friend Donald Trump to George Washington.
Meanwhile, Harbour is a leftist who suffers from a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
During a 2017 acceptance speech, Harbour went on an unhinged rant.

In his speech – Harbour’s hands were shaking as he shouted out calls to action for so-called “social justice” buzz words.
He even told the crazed audience that they should “punch in the face” anyone who gets in the way of the “marginalized and disenfranchised.”
“David Harbour gave speech about punching people in the face and the left all cheered,” Rebel News Editor-in-Chief Sheila Gunn Reid tweeted at the time. “Then people were punched in the face by the Left.”
It’s unlikely Harbour tried to punch Statham or Stallone in the face while on the set filming A Working Man.
