Kamala Harris’ economic plans are finally being realized.
They are a disaster.
And Ron DeSantis posed one question that had Kamala Harris gnashing her teeth.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz at a recent press conference.
He had previously pointed out that the Sunshine State is the top destination for residents of Minnesota relocating to warmer and greener pastures.
“I do not ask people to move to Florida,” DeSantis stated. “If you’re living in Minnesota under Walz, some people are going to want to leave that. That’s just the reality. I mean, we know that.”
The Florida Governor tore into the idea that Harris could fix an economy that she helped President Joe Biden send off the rails.
“She’s offering this fresh start and everything, and I’m thinking to myself, you know, if your house was on fire, would you bring in the arsonist to put out the fire?” DeSantis posed. “Or would you actually try something different? […] She was instrumental in creating these [problems].”
The Democrat-controlled media are trying to portray Donald Trump as the incumbent so Harris can be the candidate of “hope and change.”
Harris is being presented as something new and bold, not the sitting Vice President of the United States.

DeSantis took her to task for running away from her culpability in the inflationary crisis.
The Governor explained, “People are pinched at the grocery store. . .They’re pinched with the interest rates, and you see that […] She was an integral part in creating the problem, but then somehow she’s going to apply policies that are going to fix the problem she already started.”
Harris accused grocery stores of price-gouging in order to throw people off the scent of the true cause of inflation, reckless government spending.
Harris proposed to have the federal government enforce price controls in a vain attempt to lower food prices.
But price controls have failed everywhere, including the Soviet Union, Cuba, and other failed socialist experiments.
DeSantis stated, “If they tell you that the groceries have gone up because of price gouging, they are lying to you . . . Price gouging can happen. But in the grocery store, if someone started charging, you know, 25-30% more for orange juice, while other companies, then, would offer the market price and they get your business. I mean, it’s a competitive environment.”
Prices have risen after Harris cast the tie-breaking vote in the Senate for the $2 trillion American Rescue Plan and the $1.2 trillion Inflation Reduction Act, both boondoggles for all sorts of terrible projects.
DeSantis continued, “The reason why the prices have gone up is because all of the federal government’s policies interrupted supply chains. . .Pump too much money into the economy, devalued. All these things have led to this. And so, to say you’re going to impose, basically, price controls on that – that will not work.”
The Governor noted that price controls have failed everywhere they have been tried, yet leftists keep going for them.
DeSantis added, “I mean, why not? If that’s how it could be done, we would just do that. We know that doesn’t work . . . We know when that’s been tried, it’s been an utter failure. So, this price control – that is a ruse, just to try to mask the fact that the underlying problems that people are having to deal with are government-created.”
It turns out that Harris’ “bold” and “new” idea is just warm-over socialism.
