Prince William and Prince Harry used to be very close.
But the brothers’ relationship has been strained ever since Harry wedded Meghan Markle.

Prince William won’t invite Prince Harry to the coronation
Prince Harry’s cold war with the British Royal Family continues apace.
He and his wife, former D-list actress Meghan Markle, quit their duties as senior members of the Royal Family and left the United Kingdom in hopes of becoming stars in Hollywood.
Harry’s tell-all memoir Spare aired the dirty laundry of the family, which might have damaged his bond with the family beyond repair.
A Sunday Times article claimed that Prince William does not want Harry to attend his coronation when he becomes the King in the future.
Their father King Charles III is 75 years old and is currently battling an undisclosed form of cancer.
Prince William’s friends say that he does not want Harry at any future ceremony.
“They are estranged, which is dreadfully sad,” a friend of the brothers told the press.
William and Harry have reportedly not spoken to each other in two years after having been very close.
British Royal Family worried about being fodder for another book
Spare was a bridge too far for members of the Royal Family.
Family members are concerned that Harry could use any potential conversation they have with them in another scurrilous book.
A friend of King Charles explained, “The problem for the King and other members of the family is the worry that if they have a chat with Harry, it will appear in Spare volume two. . .How do you regain the trust? I don’t think Harry ever can.”
Charles might be the Royal most likely to mend fences with his son Harry.
The friend continued, “But from the conversations I’ve had with the King, I would never say their relationship is irreparable. . .The King’s capacity to forgive his son is undimmed. There are other members of the royal family who are much more weighted against Harry, that’s the problem.”
One of Harry’s own friends ripped him for causing a rift with the family.
“I can’t believe he’d stoop so low. It’s outrageously disloyal. Oprah, Netflix, and then the book? Three strikes and you’re out,” the friend said.
Harry has attempted to place the blame on his family for the icy relations.
He whined that they did not fight back against the British press vigorously enough..
Harry told ITV host Rebecca Barry, “I think that’s certainly a central piece to it. . .But that’s a hard question to answer, because anything I say about my family results in a torrent of abuse from the press.”
Harry wrote in Spare that Queen Camilla leaked their private conservations to the British tabloids in exchange for positive coverage.
The fallout from the salacious memoir is going to be difficult for Harry to overcome if he wants to mend fences with his family.
Prince Harry is going to have to take inventory of what he’s done, and take some accountability.
