Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are getting a free ride from the media.

But that free ride could be coming to an end.

And one infuriating video could destroy Walz’s reputation for good.

Tim Walz’s stolen valor scandal simply will not go away

Minnesota Tim Walz’s stolen valor claims are blowing up in his face.

And it goes beyond his false inferences about deploying to a combat zone.

Walz continuously claimed the rank of Command Sergeant Major – the highest ranking non-commissioned officer – despite never earning the promotion due to retiring from the National Guard before deploying to Iraq.

Two Walz videos from 2018 and 2009, respectively, showed him lying about his rank.

The state of Minnesota confirmed to Newsweek that Walz was dishonest about his military service.

Newsweek reported, “The Minnesota National Guard confirmed Wednesday that Gov. Tim Walz . . . was demoted and did not retire as a command sergeant major like he has claimed for years, including on his official gubernatorial biography.”

Walz needed to complete his coursework for Sergeant Major, but he did not.

Newsweek added, “While Walz temporarily held the title of command sergeant major he ‘retired as a master sergeant in 2005 for benefit purposes because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy,’ Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, the Minnesota National Guard’s State Public Affairs Officer, told Just the News.”

Walz not being truthful about his deployment

The Command Sergeant Major résumé line was also part of Walz’s political appeal, which is why he used it repeatedly.

Not only did Walz lie about his rank, but he also tried to mislead voters into believing he was deployed to Afghanistan by claiming that he retired after a “tour supporting the war in Afghanistan.”

Walz deployed to Italy, and that was not a one-off mistake.

Walz also lied about having deployed to Iraq before his first Congressional run in 2006.

Neither Kamala Harris nor Walz has fielded any questions from the corporate-controlled press since becoming the Democrat ticket.

They are hiding because Harris knows she is a mess off teleprompter, and Walz has no good answer for his stolen valor.

The American people deserve answers, but the media are not pushing for them.
