Following Associate Justice Stephen Breyer’s decision to retire from the United States Supreme Court in January 2022, President Joe Biden promised that his replacement would be a black woman, and he dutifully nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson, and the Democrat-controlled Senate confirmed her.

She has consistently sided with the woke radicals on the court who believe in unlimited government power to push liberal policies.

But Ketanji Brown Jackson just made comments that shocked everyone when she completely missed the whole point of the First Amendment.

These eye-opening comments have baffled constitutional experts everywhere

The First Amendment says that Congress will not pass a law abridging freedom of speech or the press.  There isn’t an asterisk next to it that says unless it is speech the government finds distasteful or incorrect.

One of the most important duties of a United States President involves the appointing of Supreme Court Justices, which carry a lifelong tenure and are supposed to protect the people from an intrusive government.

Joe Biden did not skip a beat after former Associate Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement, promising a black woman would fill his position rather than simply choosing the best person for the job.

As a result, Ketanji Brown Jackson quickly ascended to the role of Associate Supreme Court Justice, and ever since, she has almost exclusively sided with her left-leaning colleagues in the Supreme Court.

Just recently, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson made headlines after making alarming comments during last Monday’s oral arguments for the ongoing Murthy v. Missouri case.

In a nutshell, plaintiffs from Missouri and Louisiana alleged that the Joe Biden administration worked directly with social media companies to silence Americans online, violating their First Amendment rights to freedom of speech.

Per Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, while addressing lawyers representing the plaintiffs, “My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the federal government in significant ways in the most important time periods.”

She added, “And so I guess some might say that the government actually has a duty to take steps to protect the citizens of this country, and you seem to be suggesting that that duty cannot manifest itself in the government encouraging or even pressuring platforms to take down harmful information,” ending with, “So can you help me? Because I’m really – I’m really worried about that because you’ve got the First Amendment operating in an environment of threatening circumstances from the government’s perspective, and you’re saying that the government can’t interact with the source of those problems.”

According to her remarks, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson seems to believe that the First Amendment should not apply in circumstances that distress the federal government.

However, most people learn early on in grade school that the entire purpose of the First Amendment is to protect Americans from speech that the government may not approve of as a direct result of Great Britain’s intolerance of free speech in Colonial America.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s latest remarks have experts questioning her knowledge of the Constitution

The Bill of Rights contains amendments that enumerate rights for the people, designed to protect them from the federal government.

Based on her comments last Monday, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson does not appear to understand this very basic aspect of Constitutional law.

Many Americans fear that Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson does not have what it takes to serve on the Supreme Court, serving as a rubber stamp for the Joe Biden Administration, which seemed to select her simply to check a diversity box.
