J.D. Vance said it best when he called Kamala Harris a chameleon.
She will say anything to get elected.
And Harris’ radical record is catching up with her after far-left activists made one declaration.
Kamala Harris trying to run away from Green New Deal
Kamala Harris entered the 2024 Presidential campaign with a long history of supporting far-left environmental causes, among other issues.
Now that Harris is in a general election against Donald Trump, she is desperately trying to moderate all of her positions and memory-hole her radical record.
In 2019, Harris gleefully boasted during a CNN town hall that she would ban fracking.
Pennsylvania is a crucial swing state in the 2024 election, and it ranks second among states for natural gas production.
Harris’ campaign quietly put out a statement on a Friday that announced she no longer supported a ban on fracking.
And the Democrat-controlled media simply respected her flip-flop.
It’s been three weeks since Harris joined the Presidential race, and she has not answered any questions from the press or sat for any interviews.
The press is openly cheerleading the Harris campaign by allowing her to skate by without answering any challenging questions.
Donald Trump and his campaign surrogates have fewer than 100 days until election day in November to prove that Harris is no different than Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) with her radical positions.
“Green” activists holding Harris’ feet to the fire
Harris and the compliant media refuse to acknowledge her support for the Green New Deal, which was simply communism by another name.
However, an online fundraiser for her campaign by climate change activists was chock-full of praise for her support for their extremist “green” agenda.
The League of Conservation Voters organized an online fundraising call of climate activists and “green” energy supporters for the Harris campaign that netted over $100,000 in 90 minutes.
Dr. Leah Stokes, a “green” energy activist, said, “The climate movement alongside environmental justice leaders and folks working in the clean energy industry are all behind Kamala Harris . . . It’s amazing to see our movement coalesce behind Harris.”
Stokes made clear that all of the far-left environmentalist groups want Harris to become President.
Stokes continued, “When it comes to the planet, the stakes of this election could not be higher. Kamala Harris is the climate leader we need in the White House.”
The Washington Free Beacon reported that Harris was praised by the far-left organizations for her support of the Green New Deal, taxpayer fundings going to “green” boondoggles, and for supporting an anti-fracking agenda.
Stokes noted on the call that as San Francisco District Attorney, Harris created an environmental crimes unit.
United Nations environmental consultant Saad Amer said that Harris would fight for “real goals, aggressive goals” to slash carbon emissions by 50%.
“Vice President Kamala Harris has taken Big Oil to court and won,” environmental justice activist Roishetta Ozane said on the conference call. “She’s championed a Green New Deal and said she wants to make polluters pay.”
BlocPower founder Donnel Baird said that Harris has been a long-time enemy of fracking.
Far-left climate change activists are all in on the Harris campaign because they know her campaign’s pr statement flip-flopping on her previous calls to ban fracking was nothing more than a ploy to win Pennsylvania.
The Harris campaign is clearly trying to run out the clock and avoid all serious questions about her radical record before election day.
And the media are helping her get away with it.
