Kamala Harris is being treated like the greatest statesman who ever lived.
Everyone on the Left is pretending like she has unified the entire Democrat coalition.
But Kamala Harris got a slap in the face after suffering this insult from a top Democrat.
Harris is liability in red state Senator’s race
Democrats switched out Joe Biden for Kamala Harris in part to save down-ballot House and Senate candidates in tight races.
One incumbent that Democrats are desperate to protect is Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH).
Brown is seeking a fourth term in the increasingly red state of Ohio.
He’s being challenged by Republican Bernie Moreno, who was endorsed by Donald Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).
Polls currently show Brown in the lead, but a big reason for that is he is a familiar name against a relatively unknown challenger.

However, Harris’ insertion at the top of the ticket could be a real problem for the Democrats, as both Moreno and Brown see Harris as a drag on Brown’s campaign.
Moreno told reporters, “Oh, it helps me tremendously.”
Moreno added that even Biden, who was forced out of the race by Democrat Party elites, would have run better in Ohio than Harris.
“So maybe Scranton Joe had a little bit of credibility here in Ohio. San Francisco Kamala absolutely does not,” Moreno continued.
Sherrod Brown ducking Harris
Brown knows that Harris could lose him the race.
Not only did Brown refuse to endorse Harris, but he will not show up to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago to celebrate her official coronation.
Brown is a dyed-in-the-wool leftist as evidenced by his voting record, but he has maintained his seat by pretending to be a moderate.
He also will not be on the campaign trail with the Harris campaign.
Brown said to CNN, “It’s not Left or Right. It’s not who you vote for, for President.”
He claimed that he was solely focused on representing the people of Ohio, not the Presidential election.
“It’s who stands up for people in the state,” Brown continued.
Brown again refused to openly support the Harris campaign on the trail.
Brown added, “I’ve got my own schedule . . . She’s got her own schedule. I will focus on my race. My strategy is perhaps different from hers . . . talking about the differences on abortion rights and on the minimum wage between Bernie Moreno and me and how I fight every day for the dignity.”
Brown avoiding Harris like the plague in hopes of keeping his seat
Brown also downplayed his planned absence from the DNC in Chicago.
“I often skip conventions,” Brown stated.
Brown is clearly distancing himself from the Democrat Party because of his hotly contested election.
“My job is to fight for Ohio workers. You can talk about the Presidential race. That’s your job. […] I know that what will matter is people vote for me because I stand up for workers and will continue to fight for workers,” Brown stated.
Brown has spent 18 years in the Senate proclaiming to be a representative of the working class, but he has voted alongside the socialists in his party.
However, Brown cannot avoid the trend of politics becoming national, and Trump’s and Vance’s popularity in Ohio could be too much for Brown to overcome.
