Kamala Harris and the Democrats are running a tightly controlled campaign.
It’s the only way they can keep all of their lies straight.
And one Biden-Harris administration official just blew up Kamala Harris’ economic pitch at the DNC.
Kamala’s plan for the economy is bonkers
Kamala Harris is trying to win the Presidency by running a “vibes” and “joy” campaign.
Her few policy positions, such as price controls, have been torn apart even by some on the Left.
Another problem for Harris is that she cannot separate herself from Joe Biden’s disastrous economic record.
Harris must own the failures of the Biden-Harris administration, especially when she was the deciding vote in the U.S. Senate for Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion inflation package.
The fact that Harris is promising more of the same devastating policies that only benefit her far-left cronies should be immediately disqualifying.
And the economic “successes” of Biden and Harris are even worse than they’re letting on.
During a rally in North Carolina, Donald Trump told the crowd, “The Harris Biden administration has been caught fraudulently manipulating job statistics to hide the true extent of the economic ruin that they’ve inflicted on America.”
Trump’s words were based on a jaw-dropping revision to the Department of Labor’s jobs report, which showed that the Biden-Harris administration created 818,000 fewer jobs than first reported.
Trump continued, “It really isn’t a revision — it is a total lie. . .There has never been any revision like this.”
Raimondo trips over herself in easy interview
At the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo was presented with this “minor” detail by an ABC reporter, and she completely imploded on camera.
ABC reporter Kayna Whitworth teed up Raimondo with a softball, and she still hit nothing but air.
Whitworth asked, “I am curious as to your thoughts on today the Bureau of Labor saying that more than 800,000 fewer jobs were actually created than initially reported.”
The question was presented in the least adversarial manner possible.
Raimondo replied, “When I hear that, first of all, I don’t believe it, because I have never heard Donald Trump say anything truthful.”
Whitworth sheepishly answered, “It is, though, from the Bureau of Labor.”
All Raimondo could muster was “I don’t — I’m not familiar with that.”
One would expect the Commerce Secretary to have this information.

Raimondo deservedly got torched for her sad display.
Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) said that Raimondo “not being aware of the recent devastating jobs report is yet another example of the extraordinary incompetence of the Biden-Harris administration. . .We can’t stand for another four years of this mismanagement.”
At a campaign event in Arizona, Trump called out the Democrats for accusing him of making up the jobs numbers.
He stated, “I didn’t give them, I got them from the administration, from the Labor Bureau. They were officially released, official numbers — has nothing to do with me.”
The Biden-Harris economy is even worse than that because the overwhelming majority of the job gains have been from illegal alien labor pouring into the country.
Biden’s plan to prop up the economy was to bring in tons of low-skilled workers.
That is one reason why Democrats and RINOs refuse to secure the border.
