The Democrat Party is a messy coalition.

And John Fetterman coaxed Kamala Harris into one decision Democrats will live to regret.
Kamala Harris selects socialist Tim Walz as her running mate
Vice President Kamala Harris had a chance to appeal to moderate voters.
She could have gone with popular Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D), who has a 61% approval rating in a swing state.
Instead, Harris chose to appease her Left flank that was against Shapiro.
Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) was reportedly one of the Democrats who shivved Shapiro in the back.
POLITICO reported that “Fetterman’s advisers suggested to Harris’ team that the senator believes that Shapiro is excessively focused on his own personal ambitions. His reservations about Shapiro reflect a long-running rivalry between the two ambitious Democrats, who have risen on parallel tracks in a politically crucial state.”
Fetterman and Shapiro have a strained relationship going back to their days on the Pennsylvania parole board when Shapiro blocked his pro-crime agenda of putting criminals back on the streets.
“Fetterman sought to revitalize the institution and provide second chances to some convicts. Shapiro often took a less lenient position, arguing that he believed in criminal justice reform but that the commutations process was not the place for ‘structural’ changes. Fetterman and Shapiro clashed in particular over the fate of Lee and Dennis Horton, brothers who had been convicted in a fatal shooting and robbery in 1993 but maintained their innocence for decades,” POLITICO added.
Pandering to the “woke” Left
Harris went with Fetterman and “The Squad” wing of the party to pick Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
Walz praised Black Lives Matter terrorists as Minneapolis was razed to the ground, calling their actions “righteous anger.”

Walz also excused the deadly mayhem by saying that racism was to blame.
The Governor said, “I myself can fully understand the rage . . . this was Minnesotan’s inability to deal with inequality inequities and quite honestly the racism that has persisted.”
Last year, Deputy Josh Owen became one of four police officers were killed in one month in Pope County, Minnesota.
His widow Shannon Owen told Gov. Tim Walz to not attend her husband’s funeral.

Donald Trump and his running mate Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) are tagging the Harris-Walz ticket as the most radical in U.S. history.
Harris and Walz are making it an easy sell.
