Americans are not buying the corporate media lies about a “glowing economy.”
But that isn’t stopping Joe Biden from continually expecting praise for what he still seems to think is an economic boom in the U.S.
The President was just slammed on social media after he tried to tout his failing Bidenomics plan in devastating fashion.
Biden gets major backlash online
Joe Biden decided to take to the social media platform X to try and praise his “achievements” regarding the economy.
But the attempt completely backfired, as many people posted all sorts of commentary calling out his delusion and his failing policies.
Biden’s X account read, “I don’t look at the economy through the eyes of Wall Street and Park Avenue. I look at it through the eyes of the people I grew up with in Scranton, Pennsylvania or Claymont, Delaware.”
Rep. Mark Alford (R-MO) responded to the statement on X, saying, “I can’t speak for Scranton or Claymont, but I can tell you what the folks in Sedalia, Missouri are saying. They’re not happy.”
Some Democrats have been trying to get Biden to scrap the term “Bidenomics” when discussing his economic strategy, but it appears that the administration wants to double down on the term, pushing the narrative that it’s been a success.
Author Edward Dowd replied on X, “And what did the fine folks in Scranton tell you? Are they more bullish on the economy than Wall Street or less? Seriously what are we saying here? What does this mean?”
Podcast host Dr. Mark Young had a much more scathing reaction, saying, “He looks at the economy through the eyes of a Socialist with dementia.”
And former Republican congressional candidate Jack Lombardi was even more blunt, writing, “Well then you should go ahead and admit your economy sucks. Because the average American, my fellow non-elite American, is struggling under your failed policies. Your record number of EOs you bragged about signing caused this.”
Immigration lawyer Matthew Kolken joked about the post, writing, “Especially when they pay you $50k p/m in rent, amirite?”
Rep. John Carter (R-TX) said that Joe Biden can look at the economy however he wants, “but don’t put lipstick on a pig and call it a beauty queen. #Bidenomics is killing the middle class from Pennsylvania and Delaware all the way down to Texas.”
The onslaught continues
Even members of Hollywood decided to chime in on Biden’s X post.
Actor Matthew Marsden said, “You have literally been in Congress most of your life. Now ask yourself, is the country better since you took office? You look at the economy through the eyes of a corrupt old fool who has run the country into the ground.”
Fox News conducted a recent survey that found 62% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy.
The same poll found that the President only had a 37% approval rate.
A Marquette University poll found that Donald Trump had a 23–24-point lead with voters on handling the issues of inflation, the economy, and the border.
Trump also had a generous 19-point lead over Biden when it came to voters’ confidence in the candidates’ ability to create jobs.
