Barack Obama allegedly played a major role in forcing Joe Biden to step down from the Presidential campaign.
He’s not done meddling in the 2024 race.
And Jesse Watters shined light on the underhanded move Obama made against Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris’ pick of Tim Walz had people scratching their heads
Tim Walz was an after-thought as a potential running mate for Kamala Harris.
Most expected her to select Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro or Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ).
Walz was the unassuming Governor of Minnesota who proudly belonged to the socialist wing of the Democrat Party and sat idle while the biggest city in his state burned during the George Floyd riots of 2020.
People speculated how Walz ended up on Harris’ ticket.
The veritable coup against Joe Biden proved that elites are in control of the Democrat Party, not the voters.
And neither Biden nor Harris is steering the ship.
The bigger power players are Barack Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and billionaire donors with sway.
And Walz was reportedly Obama’s pick.
Fox News’ Jesse Watters tried to make heads or tails of why Harris didn’t go for more well-known Democrats who hailed from swing states like Kelly, Shapiro, or Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Watters told his audience that Walz quit on the soldiers under his command in the Minnesota National Guard and walked away upon discovering that his unit would be deployed to Iraq, just like he abandoned Minneapolis police officers during the riots.
Watters said Democrats were attempting to fool voters into believing Walz was some sort of centrist because of the “vibes” of being an old white guy from the Midwest who used to coach high school football.
But when Walz was asked flatly if he was a centrist or a progressive, he answered “progressive.”
Watters said, “When soldiers, police, and families needed Walz the most, he walked away. This is a trick pick. Democrats think they can trick you with an old white guy from the Midwest.”
The old saying goes that Democrats get punished when they do what they promise, and Republicans get punished when they don’t do what they promise.
Watters said as much when he said that American voters would recoil in horror if they knew what Democrats truly believed.
“But he’s a freak in sheep’s clothing. Democrats can’t be honest about who they are. They have to lie to you and hide their positions,” Watters declared.
Barack Obama’s role
Watters argued that Obama never wanted Harris to be the pick.
When Biden dropped out of the 2024 Presidential race, Obama wanted an open convention, believing that Harris could not defeat Donald Trump.
However, Biden quickly endorsed Harris, perhaps spitefully, after getting booted off the top of the ticket.
Obama had one more card to play and that included former Attorney General and self-described “wingman” Eric Holder.
Harris called on Holder to run the vetting process for her potential running mate.
“But there’s something else going on here. Obama didn’t want Kamala. He wanted an open convention. But Biden endorsed her before Barack could make a move. So Barack put Eric Holder, his wingman, in charge of Kamala’s VP vetting. And Holder just served up Walz, creating the craziest ticket in history,” Watters explained.
Holder’s vetting process led to Walz getting the nod.
Watters did not think that happened by accident.
Obama allegedly offered up Walz as a sacrificial lamb so top-tier Democrats don’t go down in flames with Harris.
Watters concluded, “Is Walz just a sacrificial lamb? Do they know they’re going to lose? Because all the talented Democrats are being kept on ice for 28. Newsom, Shapiro, Gretchen Whitmer. So when Harris-Walz loses, then Barack can say, see, far left, I told you so. We tried it your way, now we do it my way.”
