Kamala Harris and the Democrats have been riding a sugar high since she was installed as the face of the party.

But the 2024 election is far from a foregone conclusion.

And a Fox Business guest made one comment that had Kamala Harris seeing red.

Kamala Harris desperately looking for a path to victory

Vice President Kamala Harris enters the Presidential race with a giant tailwind created by the Democrat Media Complex.

Democrats are hoping that Harris can change the trajectory of the 2024 Presidential election after Joe Biden was trending toward a loss to Trump.

Now Harris has to find a path to 270 Electoral Votes in order to win the election.

Democrats hope that Harris’ relative youth combined with media hype and celebrity endorsements will be enough to carry her in the Sun Belt where Biden saw slippage.

However, the most important swing states in 2024 will be the Rust Belt states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

If Harris does not win at least one of those three states, she has virtually no chance of becoming President.

Democrat strategist Julian Epstein analyzed Harris’ chances in the Rust Belt during an appearance on Mornings with Maria on Fox Business.

He explained that polling in the Presidential race had reverted back to its pre-debate numbers before Biden imploded on the debate stage.

Epstein stated, “You really have to do an average of the polls . . . If you do an average of the polls, Donald Trump is still ahead by about one to two points in the national election and still ahead in most battleground states. That’s according to five of the seven most recent polls. So, what we’ve seen is that the race has returned to the pre-debate norm where it has been stuck all year.”

Kamala’s big Rust Belt problem

Epstein examined the polls at their crosstabs that contained demographic information in order to gain insights about the 2024 race.

He said, “The significant change that we’re seeing is that Kamala Harris seems to be attracting more young voters that were leaving the Democratic Party and more black voters that were also leaving the Democratic Party under Biden and that’s good for her.”

He warned that older and working-class voters were gravitating toward Trump.

“The reason that’s bad news for her is because most voters in the Midwest states, the Rust Belt swings, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin are older and working-class,” Epstein explained. “So, essentially what has happened, as you return to the pre-debate norm, but you’ve traded a California voter for a Pennsylvania voter, which is not so good for Harris.”

Biden’s semblance of folksy charm had a unique appeal with working-class and older voters that Harris likely will not be able to match.

He spent his entire political career crafting the phony “Joe from Scranton” persona in order to appeal to the blue-collar voters who used to be the base of the Democrat Party.

Harris is a San Francisco liberal who needs white working-class voters in the Rust Belt to win, but her far-left record is going to make it difficult for her to get to 270 electoral votes.
