Americans can barely hold back their excitement after it was announced that Duck Dynasty is coming back to their living rooms.
But one of the legendary series stars may not be around by the time the show kicks back off.
Duck Dynasty legend just ended up in the hospital from one hunting accident that sent the whole Robertson family into a panic.
Duck Dynasty is coming back!
We all know the saying “when it rains it pours.”
And many of us have lived through that proverb as we all have struggles that just compound on each other.
But the saying also goes, “success breeds success” and right now we are witnessing what it is like to win as a nation thanks to President Trump being back in the Oval Office.
On nearly every front, Middle America is winning again.
And just to add even more winning to our continued success, it was announced late last month that America’s favorite television show, Duck Dynasty, is heading back to your living rooms as A&E just rebooted the show.
For the first time in seven years, America will get its favorite television show back this summer with a new show called, “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” and people cannot wait to see their favorite show characters.
But news just broke that has many fans worried that they may never see one of their favorite Robertsons again on the show.
Uncle Si was almost a goner
If you watched Duck Dynasty you know Uncle Si.
But, like everyone else on the new series coming out, Si is getting up there in age at 76.
And some have feared that all it will take is one bad fall and Si will be out of the new series for good.
Well it looks like that fear has become a reality as Si had a major fall while hunting that sent him to the emergency room.
Co-host Justin Martin of the podcast Duck Call Room informed fans of Si’s fall and condition on a recent episode.
Martin told fans, “Typical Silas Robertson: In a dang hurry to get out of the boat. He went to take a long step instead of waiting for us to move the decoys and the shotguns…and he fell.”
Martin continued by adding, “when he fell, he fell on his oxygen machine. You know how he wears it like a bandolier, but Si bounced right back up.”
After the fall Si wasn’t himself and couldn’t be found by the crew.
Martin claimed, “We get back to the clubhouse, and breakfast is done and we’re looking up and there’s no Si. He’s just sitting outside in the cold. I immediately thought he had a concussion because it was out of character. He was real quiet, another red flag … no stories.”
Phillip McMillan, an alum of “Duck Dynasty” and a co-host on Si’s podcast, said he learned a little while later that Robertson was being taken to the hospital.
McMillan then recalled the call they received later that day.
Si’s caretaker called McMillan and said, “Phillip, we’re heading to the ER. My heart just dropped.”
He added that while in the emergency room it was discovered that Si’s “oxygen level was really low.”
Ultimately no serious injuries were discovered and Si was sent home.
But fans still need to worry about Si because a few more falls like that and he will be out of the new series for good.
