Glenn Youngkin signs crucial executive order
Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin took the lead in setting the table for how elections should be run in America.
Youngkin signed an executive order establishing common sense guidelines for election day in November.
A statement from Youngkin read, “The Virginia model for Election Security works. This isn’t a Democrat or Republican issue, it’s an American and Virginian issue.”
Youngkin’s executive order commanded state election officials to remove all noncitizens from voter rolls.
The Governor declared, “Every legal vote deserves to be counted without being watered down by illegal votes or inaccurate machines. In Virginia, we don’t play games and our model for election security is working.”
Between 2022 and 2024, the commonwealth of Virginia discovered over 6,300 noncitizens on the voter rolls.
In addition to that, there were also more than 79,000 deceased individuals who were still on the voting rolls.
And Youngkin was not finished.
The executive order also mandated that Virginia use paper ballots for election integrity.
Governor Youngkin explained that in his state, machines are only used for counting.
There is no mass mailing of ballots, and the state monitors drop boxes 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure there are no shenanigans.
Youngkin said, “We use 100 percent paper ballots with a strict chain of custody. We use counting machines, not voting machines, that are tested prior to every election and never connected to the internet. We do not mass mail ballots. We monitor our drop boxes 24/7.”
The Governor detailed how Virginia monitors its voter rolls to ensure only legal voters are casting ballots in elections.
Youngkin continued, “We verify the legal presence and identity of voters using DMV data and other trusted data sources to update our voter rolls daily, not only adding new voters, but scrubbing the lists to remove those that should not be on it, like the deceased, individuals that have moved, and non-citizens that have accidentally or maliciously attempted to register.”
Trump responds
Donald Trump applauded Youngkin’s executive order in a post on Truth Social.
Trump wrote, “The beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia, superbly led by Governor Glenn Youngkin, IS TAKING A STRONG LEAD IN SECURING THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER — PROTECTING EVERY LEGAL VOTE AND KEEPING ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT HAVE BEEN LET INTO OUR COUNTRY FROM VOTING.”
“All votes will be on paper ballots and counted safely and fairly, not by machines connected to the internet — A big security risk. We must work hard to make sure the Election is FAIR and SECURE!!! EVERY STATE SHOULD FOLLOW VIRGINIA’S LEAD. We need volunteers to watch the polls – So important,” Trump added.
Americans must have confidence in elections, otherwise the entire system collapses into third-worldism.
Youngkin took major steps to ensure voters can have confidence in election results come November.
