Donald Trump is not one to back down from a challenge.

He’s willing to charge ahead when other Republicans get squeamish.

And Trump made one bold statement after Fox News took a swipe at J.D. Vance.

Media target J.D. Vance

The corporate-controlled media are trying to create a narrative that Donald Trump’s selection of Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate over an establishment RINO like Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) or Nikki Haley was a big mistake.

The last thing that the press and the Washington, D.C. “Swamp” want is a politician who actually believes in Donald Trump’s America First agenda leading the GOP into the future.

Left-wing activist Tim Alberta of The Atlantic posted, without evidence, that the Trump campaign had buyer’s remorse over picking Vance.

Alberta posted on social media, “Most striking thing I heard from Trump allies yesterday was the second-guessing of J.D. Vance—a selection, they acknowledged, that was borne of cockiness, meant to run up margins with the base in a blowout rather than persuade swing voters in a nail-biter.”

Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy signal-boosted these attacks during a phone interview with Trump.

Doocy started, “Mr. President, you know, it was just about a week ago that you selected J.D. Vance to be your running mate. Now, we know that at that point, you didn’t know that Kamala Harris was going to be your main opponent.”

Harris was anointed as the Democrats’ heir apparent after Joe Biden was kicked aside.

Doocy continued, “But now, she is. And I’m sure you’ve seen there have been a couple of stories out that say they wonder whether or not you feel you made the right pick, given the fact you didn’t realize you were going to be running against a woman, who might now try to pick a running mate to deliver a key state or a demographic or anything like that. You’re still 100% behind J.D. Vance, right?”

Trump gives a response

The Republican anger about Vance comes from “Swamp” RINOs who want to turn Ukraine into another endless war above everything else.

They hate the fact that Trump picking Vance solidifies the GOP as the party of America First foreign policy, which is the reason Trump was so hated by the establishment to begin with.

Trump flatly rejected any claims he had buyer’s remorse about Senator Vance.

He told Doocy, “He’s fantastic. Yeah. No, it wouldn’t have mattered. And I thought she was probably going to happen anyway, because I know. I knew there was a palace coup going on, and I assumed that she’d be probably getting it.”

Trump also praised Vance’s populist conservative appeal to the working-class Americans that Vance grew up around in Appalachia.

Trump said, “She had the advantage. So, yeah, it wouldn’t matter now. He’s doing a fantastic job because he’s essentially for the worker. He’s seen the worker be horribly abused and taken advantage of and he’s for their work. And that’s what his book is about.”

“That’s what his—that’s where his feelings about, you know, he’s for the worker. No. He’s great. He’s doing a great job. And he’s been very well received,” added the GOP nominee for president, Trump closed.

Trump’s words were not the only indicator of his rock-solid belief in Vance.

The campaign showed it had full confidence in Vance by having him attend a rally with Trump in Minnesota.

The Trump campaign also plans to have Vance headline solo rallies in swing states such as Nevada.
