Donald Trump has been targeted with outrageous levels of lawfare.
All of it was part of a plan to stop Trump from becoming President again.
But a Democrat judge handed down one Trump verdict that left everyone in stunned silence.
Judge Juan Merchan postpones Trump’s sentencing
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg secured a guilty verdict against Donald Trump on 34 felony counts in the bogus falsification of business records case, which was nothing more than a political show trial.
Judge Juan Merchan – who donated to Joe Biden and whose daughter works for a Democrat consulting firm with ties to the Kamala Harris Presidential campaign – originally scheduled Trump’s sentencing hearing for July 11 before being delayed once to September 18.
In the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, early voting began on September 16.
Merchan throwing Trump in the slammer could have been the ultimate October surprise for the Democrats.
However, the Supreme Court intervened.
The Justices’ ruling that Presidents had absolute immunity for core functions and presumptive immunity for official acts jammed up Trump’s Manhattan conviction.
The high court ruled that not only did Presidents have immunity from prosecution, the evidence derived from official acts could not be used in court.
That was a major problem for Alvin Bragg’s case against Donald Trump because he called White House advisor Hope Hicks as a witness to testify about her conversations she had with Trump.
Trump’s attorneys filed a motion calling for Merchan to delay sentencing until after the election on the grounds that their immunity appeal of the Manhattan conviction needed to work its way through the courts.
Judge Merchan hinted that he intended to charge forward, scheduling a hearing on Trump’s motion to vacate on September 16.
That would have given Trump one business day to find a state of federal court to stop Merchan from holding the sentencing hearing on September 18.
However, Merchan backed down and delayed sentencing until November 26.
The judge wrote, “Adjourning decision on the motion and sentencing, if such is required, should dispel any suggestion that the Court will have issued any decision or imposed sentence either to give an advantage to, or to create a disadvantage for, any political party and or any candidate for any office.”
Trump makes a statement
Trump celebrated the court victory at a rally in North Carolina.
He told the crowd of supporters, “I greatly appreciate the words in the letter today from the judge. He said, ‘if necessary,’ being utilized in the decision, because there should be no ‘if necessary.’ This case should rightfully be terminated immediately.”
Judge Merchan’s ruling means that Democrat lawfare is dead as an election strategy for the 2024 Presidential cycle.
The immunity ruling also delayed the January 6 trial until after the election.

Merchan delaying sentencing until right before Thanksgiving means that Trump will not see the inside of a courtroom until after the election is over.
