Chris Cuomo just made an embarrassing admission when pushed over the edge by Vivek Ramaswamy

Vivek Ramaswamy is beginning to prove that he may just have what it takes to be a strong America First leader.

That may explain why establishment figures in the media and the Republican primary are trying to take him out.

But Ramaswamy just embarrassed Chris Cuomo on his own show and forced this embarrassing admission.

Ramaswamy is hot off third debate success

Vivek Ramaswamy is starting to evoke memories of Donald Trump in the primary season of the 2016 election.

A political outsider and CEO that all the establishment figures seem to dread encountering, Ramaswamy has been on the receiving end of many attacks.

But just like Trump—he fights back hard.

In the most recent debate, Ramaswamy went on the offensive and immediately attacked the mainstream media in his opening question.

The political outsider demanded that Kristen Welker apologize on behalf of her network, NBC, for pushing the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.

Then he set his sights on Nikki Haley.

Ramaswamy slammed the former South Carolina Governor for her vested interests in the military industrial complex and declared she didn’t represent the best interests of the American people.

Nikki Haley is nothing more than “Dick Cheney in three-inch heels,” he said.

Now in an appearance on News Nation, Chris Cuomo attempted to force him to explain the attack on Haley.

“I don’t know what you’ve been smoking”

In a viral video that has accumulated millions of views on social media, Chris Cuomo took an opportunity to force Ramaswamy to explain the attacks on Haley.

“Why do you keep going at Nikki Haley? Why do you think this is going to bear fruit?” Cuomo asked.

“Chris, I don’t know what you’ve been smoking, man,” Ramaswamy responded, going on to describe Cuomo and the mainstream media as “laughable.”

“Nikki Haley has been going after me the whole campaign…[but] the establishment media has realized that there’s a puppet that they want to put up,” he said. “I’m not playing that game,” he said.

Ramaswamy went on, “Dick Cheney 2.0 has taken over the GOP. The problem is the Democrat establishment media is now rooting for war too. I’m the only candidate speaking for a true America First agenda on that debate stage, and I think we’re going to be successful.”

Then Cuomo tried to deflect, calling his words a “tapestry of conspiracies,” but Ramaswamy shut him down.

“There’s no tapestry of conspiracies,” the political outsider responded.

“Look the audience in the eye”

“My strategy is calling out the mainstream media like I did to Kristen Welker . . . I told her to look the audience in the eye and apologize to them,” Ramaswamy said.

“Just like I’ll tell you, you’re a part of the mainstream media despite pretending like you’re not. Look the audience in the eye, and tell them you covered for your brother,” he demanded of Cuomo.

“Hey listen, you don’t want to take care of your family, that’s fine. Vivek, I’m not playing a game,” Cuomo hit back.

“You’ve been covering for your brother. You’ve been playing a game. You have been kicked out from CNN,” Ramaswamy retorted.

Then Cuomo finally did it, he openly admitted to running cover for his brother, Andrew Cuomo. “Of course, I helped my brother. Yeah, of course I do,” he said.

Ramaswamy took a victory lap saying, “Journalistic standards have now been failed not just by you, but by every member of the broken political media.”

Whether or not you like him, Ramaswamy is aiming to humiliate the mainstream media. And it might just be working.
