Vice President Kamala Harris delivers remarks to Department

Kamala Harris currently has a media cocoon around her.

But even people on the Left know Kamalamania is all hype.

And California Democrats spilled the tea on Kamala Harris, and she was hopping mad over this comment.

Harris was thought of as a joke until five minutes ago

The Democrat Party was in shambles during a month-long civil war over Joe Biden’s fate after his all-time bad debate performance against Donald Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ entrance into the Presidential race provided a shot in the arm for the Democrats who were down in the dumps.

Prior to her current moment, Harris was a walking punchline for her constant gaffes and unsettling cackles at inappropriate times.

Even the Left lampooned her.

Comedy Central’s The Daily Show roasted Harris for her mindless train of thought.

The corporate-controlled media openly speculated about Biden removing her, as she was the most unpopular Vice President in history.

But all of that flipped on a dime when she became the face of the Democrat Party.

As the old NFL adage goes, the backup quarterback is always the most popular guy in town.

Suddenly, Democrats and their public relations team in the media went into high gear and began treating Harris as if she were a generational political talent.

But the people who know Harris best are not as sanguine about her campaign.

California Democrats concerned about Harris

Harris rose through the ranks of California politics, going from San Francisco District Attorney to State Attorney General to U.S. Senator relatively quickly.

She only won her first race for California Attorney General in 2010 by less than 1%, which is the equivalent of about 74,000 votes.

Since 2006, that is the closest Republicans have come to winning a statewide election.

Some Golden State Democrats are reluctantly supporting Harris as their party’s Presidential nominee.

A California Democrat delegate told POLITICO, “She’s not our best candidate, but she’s gonna be the candidate . . . There’s no point in not getting on board.”

Harris was able to bypass the voters in the Democrat Primary process after she was anointed by party bosses.

And according to one San Francisco Democrat, that was a good thing.

“This is kind of an ideal situation for her,” another California Democrat explained. “She got past the Primary, she has a united party, [and] she inherited a structure already built for her.”

The Democrat said that party members are trying to talk themselves out of their doubts about Harris.

“Partially we just want it to be true so badly because we really really want to beat [Trump],” the Democrat continued. “And we do love her as a person and what she believes.”

The doubts are there from those on the Left who witnessed her political career launch in San Francisco.

POLITICO reported, “One Bay Area veteran Democrat said the recent days have been filled with conversations with other political insiders asking, ‘Do we know too much?’ about her over-cautious instincts, periodic word salads on the stump, and persistent staff upheavals.”

Right now, Harris may be the greatest thing since sliced bread to the Democrats because she represents their only chance of defeating Donald Trump, but she is still the same candidate about whom Democrats had deep concerns until five minutes ago.
