Biden continues to send U.S. tax dollars to Afghanistan, making the world even more dangerous

Joe Biden’s bungled and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan humiliated the U.S. on the world stage, empowered Taliban terrorists, and gave tons of military supplies to terrorists.

Despite the Taliban takeover of the Afghan government, recently released U.N. reports reveal that the Biden Administration continues to pour billions of dollars into Afghanistan.

Now Biden’s bungled U.S. withdrawal of U.S. forces is only being made worse by even more missteps by the administration.

In 2021, Joe Biden wanted to score political points by pulling American troops out of Afghanistan before the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

His arbitrary and optics-driven deadline led to a disastrous spectacle reminiscent of the fall of Saigon in 1975.

Who can forget the horrific scenes of Afghanis clinging to departing planes in a desperate attempt to escape violent Taliban control?

Or the 13 brave American soldiers who paid for Biden’s hubris with their lives?

Joe Biden abandoned American citizens behind enemy lines, betrayed our global partners, and doomed our Afghani allies to torture and death.

But his uncontrolled withdrawal also gave a huge cache of U.S. weapons to terrorist groups throughout the world.

Biden creates a terrorist haven

He also gifted the Bagram Airfield and $80 Billion in American weapons to Taliban terrorists.

Make no mistake, the Taliban of today is the same extremist group that ran Afghanistan before 9/11.

They gave sanctuary to Osama bin Laden and the al-Qaeda terrorists who killed nearly 3,000 Americans in their attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Terrorism threat grows

So, it should come as no surprise that Afghanistan has become a haven for jihadist groups.

They have stepped up recruiting and, thanks to Joe Biden, have a high-tech base for exporting terror across the globe.

The U.N. Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team reported that al-Qaeda has established training camps and religious indoctrination centers called madrassas in Afghanistan.

Evidence revealed the presence of al-Qaida senior officials in the country, and the U.N. concluded that “the group continues to pose a threat in the region, and potentially beyond.”

Biden pours billions into Afghanistan

Despite the threat of a terrorism hub in Afghanistan, the Biden Administration continues to send billions of taxpayer dollars to the Taliban regime.

In fact, the U.S. accounts for nearly 90% of the $2.9 billion in aid sent to Afghanistan since Biden’s disastrous withdrawal.

Outrageously, most of the aid was in cash.

Experts believe that Biden sending piles of cash to Afghanistan while the Taliban harbors and supports al-Qaeda sends a dangerous message to bad actors.

Of course, that’s par for the course for Joe Biden.

America is vulnerable

In 2021, Biden removed the terrorist designation Trump slapped on the Houthis, Islamic terrorists who have since launched attacks on American bases and ships.

The reality is that with a weak-kneed Biden Administration coddling violent Islamic extremists, America may be facing a new wave of terrorism.

In fact, Palestinian Islamic Jihad is calling for the upcoming Ramadan holy month to be filled with “terror and panic.”

It would be foolish to believe America isn’t in their sights.

Joe Biden’s wide-open border means we have no idea how many terrorists have set up shop in our cities, towns, and neighborhoods.

A record number of individuals on the terrorist watch list have been encountered at the U.S. border.  No one knows how many have gotten by undetected.

There’s no time to lose

Joe Biden must secure our borders, stop pouring taxpayer dollars into our enemies’ coffers, and prioritize defending the U.S. against the real threats his America Last agenda has spawned.

Otherwise, the price we pay may be in innocent blood.
