Daniel Penny attends Army-Navy football game with Trump
The Army-Navy football game is one of the great traditions in all of American sports.
The “Game of Honor” pits two teams against each other that are both willing to die for the freedom of everyone watching the contest.
The Army-Navy game is a tradition that was one of Trump’s favorites during his first term in office.
Trump and J.D. Vance both attended this year’s game after having won the 2024 Presidential election.
Tulsi Gabbard – a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve – and Pete Hegseth – a retired Army Major – also attended the game.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and incoming Senate Majority leader John Thune (R-SD) were also part of Trump’s entourage.
The appearance of Trump and his guests at the game was a great way to bring the country together and honor the men and women of the armed services.
However, Trump’s entourage had one special guest.
Recently-acquitted Daniel Penny made an appearance.
Vice President-elect Vance invited Penny, a fellow former Marine, to attend the game with him and President Trump.
Both Trump and Penny were victims of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s political persecution.
Penny was charged with second degree manslaughter in the death of Jordan Neely after he subdued Neely when he was terrorizing fellow passengers on a New York subway.
Penny and two other passengers held Neely down until the police arrived.
Neely later passed away.
The tragic incident was a clear-cut case of Penny intervening to defend others on the train, but the district attorney’s office wanted to make an example of him.
Despite the prosecutor’s best efforts, Penny was acquitted by a jury of his peers.
In light of the acquittal, Vance wrote on social media, “Daniel’s a good guy, and New York’s mob district attorney tried to ruin his life for having a backbone. I’m grateful he accepted my invitation and hope he’s able to have fun and appreciate how much his fellow citizens admire his courage.”

Bragg tried to throw both Trump and Penny in jail for political reasons.
Both of his gambits failed.
Daniel Penny is a free man.
And Donald Trump is going back to the White House.
