Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is used to being in the spotlight, especially after he started dating pop megastar Taylor Swift.

But he never thought he’d be in the limelight for this reason.

That was until this scary situation with Travis Kelce ended up with Secret Service agents giving a surprising update.

Travis Kelce warned he might get tasered at the White House

The Kansas City Chiefs made the customary visit to the White House after winning the Super Bowl in February.

It was a day to celebrate the team’s second straight championship, and it included some light-hearted fun.

Not surprisingly, President Joe Biden looked like a buffoon trying to put on a helmet that the Chiefs gifted him.

Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce then gave some remarks at the Presidential podium that raised eyebrows during the event.

“My fellow Americans,” Kelce said. “It’s nice to see you all yet again. I’m not gonna lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here I’d get tased. So, I’m gonna go back to my spot.”

But what happened next shocked almost everyone.

During an episode of his podcast New Heights with his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City star said he wasn’t joking about potentially getting tased at the podium.

“That’s real,” Kelce explained. “The Secret Service that’s all over the White House, they weren’t too happy with me. They weren’t too happy with me on my second time visiting.”

Kelce tried to give an impromptu speech at last year’s White House visit by the Chiefs after their Super Bowl victory.

He and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes gave Biden a jersey at the event, and then Kelce made a beeline for the podium.

“So, I’ve been waiting for this . . .” Kelce began to say before Mahomes yanked him away from the podium and took him back to the group.

Kelce gets in even more trouble

Kelce also got in trouble during last year’s visit over his credentials.

“Last time, I was talking about how I had an expired ID,” Kelce said. “I caught s*** for that.”

But Secret Service spokesperson Nathan Herring told People Magazine that the taser comments directed at Travis Kelce were just all in good fun.

“Our agents and officers were happy to support Travis and the Chiefs’ official visit to the White House, even presenting him with a Secret Service pin,” Herring said. “As for the taser comment, Travis and our personnel were having some friendly banter as we have passionate football fans throughout our organization.”

The Chiefs star did say it’s always an honor to visit the White House — no matter who’s in the Oval Office.

“Any time that I get a chance to get recognized by the President of the United States and get to go with my teammates, and a group of men and women that I had success with to the point where we get to get acknowledged, man, I’m doing it every single time,” Kelce said. “No matter who’s up there at the helm, no matter what’s going on in this world, I think it’s just such a cool opportunity.”

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are looking to make a third trip to the White House next year as they go for a historic third straight Super Bowl win next season.

But next year, there’s a strong possibility he will be visiting with President Trump.
